Custom parts built for production

Production parts should do more than just fit—they need to be strong, reliable, and easy to manufacture at scale. Certain projects require custom components that take into consideration materials, tolerances, and how each part interacts with others on the line.

One example of custom parts is the engine fan project, where off-the-shelf components couldn’t meet the high strength and reliability criteria required to survive a high vibration environment.

Keeping manufacturing limits in mind

A working prototype doesn’t always guarantee a product is ready for manufacturing. Many fail to account for factory limits, tolerances, or material behavior at scale.

Tooling changes can be costly

Even small updates can delay production by 4 to 12 weeks. We design with real production in mind from the start—checking fit, materials, and process constraints before parts are released.
