Bridging the gap

How we help corporations

For companies looking to branch into new territory, we offer a way for them to do research and development without making the long-term investment of a dedicated team.

One example of our work is a project for a manufacturer that had an idea to monitor the health of their paper machines, each one worth millions of dollars and being very costly to repair. For a proof of concept, we came up with an IoT mesh network of vibration sensors that would monitor their machines for irregularities. Take a look at our vibration sensor project for more details about that solution.

Expanding engineering depth

For some clients we function as an extension of an already existing team of engineers. This makes sense during seasons of unexpected growth where it can be difficult to find qualified expertise. An example of one such project was the work that we did for Bose, working in the R&D division for wearable products.

Our expertise is without question, the commitment is short-term, and we don’t charge a premium.

Dreams take shape

Entrepreneurs

It is amazing how far entrepreneurs can get on their own these days with the latest technologies like AI and 3D printers. Still, for a product to be truly market-ready, there are so many considerations like PCB development, design with safety in mind (especially for battery powered devices), and matters of compliance.

Our expertise is a valuable resource at every stage of development. Sometimes clients approach us with an idea or a drawing and other times there may be a physical prototype already created or a 3D print. We are ready to jump into any phase of development.

One of our clients, an entrepreneur who invented his own military device, needed improvements in preparation for military testing. Check out how we helped him get prepared in our helicopter hook project.

Small businesses

We thrive in dynamic environments where every employee is wearing a lot of hats. It can be difficult for small companies to have full coverage of expertise when it comes to product development. Our clients benefit by off-loading entire areas of their product’s development, such as PCB design, firmware development, mechanical design, or some other feature, which will allows them to focus on the areas that they are comfortable with while leaving the rest to trusted professionals.

Diverse experience

One of our biggest strengths is the variety of projects that we have been involved with. This diverse experience brings fresh perspectives to our clientele that would get overlooked in many contexts.

Conclusion

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a small business, or a large corporation, your project can benefit from our expertise. We’ve assisted clients in every circumstance and we’re excited to work with you.
